About
The Band
est. 1987
Greetings from Wirral Symphonic Wind Band – we are one of the top wind bands in the North West UK, boasting Platinum Awards at the Regional and National Wind Band Competition, NCBF.

Based on the Wirral, our membership is drawn from across Merseyside and the wider North West and North Wales region. The band has a long history – since being formed in 1987 we have grown from 5 to over 50 regular members. The band plays several concert dates each year in and around the Wirral, including outdoor events during the summer months, which will be listed on this website. We are available to hire for events or functions.
